Michael Distasio founded Valor Advisers to offer sound financial advice and support to first responders and their families. Mr. Distasio is part of an elite group of financial advisers known as Registered Investment Advisers (RIA). He has 13 family members who are either active or former first responders. He deeply understands their sacrifice and selflessness. Mr. Distasio provides affordable, honest investment and tax advice to those who serve and protect their communities. In addition, he volunteers his time and money to several other first responder organizations. Mr. Distasio also frequently speaks at academic institutions, including Lewis University, Marist High School, and Algonquin Middle School to empower young students through financial literacy.
