Pamela Capitanini
Pamela Capitanini has dedicated her life to bettering the city of Chicago. She is active in civic and charitable leadership, currently serving on the executive boards of the Chicago History Museum Costume Council, Hippocratic Cancer Research Foundation, and A Silver Lining Foundation. As an active fundraiser for both the private and public forum, Ms. Capitanini’s recent projects have included: Plant Green Ideas, the Chicago Cultural Mile, and working with Walgreens to bring sustainable large interactive art along Michigan Avenue. The Capitanini family has owned and operated the Italian Village Restaurants since 1927 and is a cornerstone of the Italian-American dining experience in Chicagoland.
